Chili
Ingredients
- 2 T Olive Oil
- 1 each Onion medium
- 1 bag Faux burger crumbles
- 1 can (14 oz) Diced tomatoes hot
- 2 can (14 oz) Diced tomatoes
- 1 can Tomato soup
- 1 can (7 oz) Diced green chiles
- ½ t Cumin
- 2 T Oregano
- ⅛ t Salt
- 1 each Bell Pepper
- 2 stalks celery sliced
- 1 each Jalepeno
- 1 T Garlic chopped
- 2 T Chili Powder
- 1 C Kidney beans drained
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Stir in the onion, and season with cumin, oregano, and salt. Cook and stir until onion is tender, then mix in the celery, green bell pepper, jalapeno pepper, garlic, and green chile peppers. When vegetables are heated through, mix in the vegetarian burger crumbles. Reduce heat to low, cover pot, and simmer 5 minutes.
- Mix the tomatoes into the pot. Season chili with chili powder. Stir in the kidney beans. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer 45 minutes.
